About the role
- The Feed Mill - Maintenance is accountable for supporting the identification and planning of capital projects, repairs and preventative maintenance for all operational facilities.
- They will work closely with Regional Operations Managers and third-party vendors to ensure safe, accurate and timely execution of equipment and infrastructure maintenance and upgrades.
- Synergize with internal/external stakeholders to facilitate equipment maintenance and infrastructure planning
Responsibilities
- Support the management of day-to-day and long-term maintenance and projects
- Maintain documentation of all assigned maintenance policies, procedures and schematics
Requirements
- Facilitate cost-effective purchases of required labour, materials and supplies using established vendor accounts
Skills
- Maintain inventories of replacement parts and tools
- Exceptional communication skills that align with various personality types
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Exceptional customer service, team and relationship-building skills
- Able to work and operate the tools and equipment in a safe manner, often remotely and with indirect supervision
- Detail-oriented and resourceful with strong analytical capabilities and decision-making skills
