About the role
- In addition to student advising, the individual in this position serves as the primary coordinator for the Anthropology Department undergraduate student program.
- Participates in the campus-wide advising community providing input to leadership regarding the development of advising, recruitment, and co/curricular programs offered by the school/college
- Serve as curricular representative on department Curriculum Committee, responsible for department Timetable, Schedule of Classes, and enrollment management
Responsibilities
- Manage department website content, coordinate and maintain department social media
- Implements academic advising events such as workshops, panel discussions, and guest speakers
- Maintains expertise with advised curriculum and may assist in developing and recommending exceptions for policy and curriculum
Requirements
- Experience with general curricular elements and structures
- ability to communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and organized manner
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, apply, and adhere to complex policies and procedures
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, demonstrate effective time-management, strong attention to accuracy, and excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and ability to navigate challenges constructively

Compensation
- The expected salary range for this position is $48,000 - $53,000 for highly experienced candidates. Actual pay within this range will depend on experience and qualifications.
