About the role

  • Establish standard procedures for the site, exchange expertise with other sites and ensure site is following EHS regulations and practices.
  • Combustible Dust Hazard Assessment and Management.
  • Evaluate containment/industrial hygiene for new projects Potent Compound active-specific procedures and training Liaise with Project Managers, Process Engineers and Clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to EHS team as well as internal and external clients on EHS matters.
  • Provide EHS support to operations, maintenance and Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS).
  • Maintain a safe working environment and report potential hazards.
  • Lead the creation and integration of EHS programs and management systems.
  • Lead all facets of the Industrial Hygiene (IH) Program at the site:

Requirements

  • Protective equipment may be required and may include any of the following:
  • Use of Personal Protective equipment may be required and may include any of the following: safety glasses, safety shoes, lab coat, gloves, hair net, beard cover, safety apron, respirator occasionally.
  • Occasionally, required skills/experiences for jobs are expressed in brief terms.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and site leadership as required to gain support and ensure compliance.

Compensation

  • The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $76,400.00-$101,800.00.
