About the role

  • About the Position: Incumbent will serve as an inspector general with responsibility for responding to requests for IG assistance, participating in investigations and site visits for assistance, and participating in systemic inspections.

Requirements

  • An SSN and current resume is required to conduct the background investigation
  • A minimum of an interim secret security clearance is required before an individual can perform any IG functions or have access to IG records.
  • Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Compensation

  • $92k-$119k

  • Applicants and employees must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a secret-level security clearance
