About the role

Responsibilities

  • You will support water, wastewater and/or recycled water design and planning projects, including development of scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Our team of expert engineers and communicators is recognized for delivering planning, design, program management, construction management, and energy solutions for municipalities, public and private utilities, special districts, energy providers, and more throughout California and the Pacific Northwest.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering successful and collaborative project performance that achieves clients' goals, including cost-effective, sustainable, energy-efficient, operator-friendly, and innovative valuable outcomes.
  • 3-5 years of experience in planning, design and/or construction of water, wastewater and or recycled water facilities.
  • Demonstration of understanding and defining project goals and requirements.
  • Team first mindset. You enjoy collaborating, learning from, and teaching others, and are active in creating a positive team dynamic.
  • Desire to operate with freedom and accountability. A willingness to take risks and ownership of those risks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience writing proposals and presentations, technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and miscellaneous project documents.
  • Project workshop leadership, facilitation of alternatives analysis evaluation and decision making.
  • Ability to serve as a dedicated and effective client service partner and demonstrate responsiveness, clear communication, quality delivery, mindful listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • AutoDesk Civil 3D or BIM/Revit design experience is a plus.
  • E.I.T. registration or the ability to obtain registration within one year. P.E. registration or ability to obtain within one year is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related engineering field
  • Master's degree preferred or enrollment in a Master's program.
  • Active participant in related professional associations, preferred, and knowledge of the latest industry trends.
  • Development of sustainable solutions and alternative project delivery methods a plus.
  • E.I.T. registration or the ability to obtain registration within one year.
  • P.E. registration or ability to obtain within one year is a plus.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is annually and may be $75,000 - $110,000 more or less depending on experience.
