Responsibilities
- Keep current with the latest technologies to provide relevant electrical design consolation.
- Programming automation and control systems and improving existing PLC programs including servo drives and A/C drives to help manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Engineering Technology diploma.
- 5+ years' related work experience
- Knowledge of industrial ethernet networks and network communication standards.
- Knowledge of control and distribution panels, switchgear, and MCCs.
- Some travel to various sites in North America will be required
- Experienced in PLC and HMI systems design, programming, commissioning and start up including system hardware selection, I/O panels and subsystems layout and wiring.
- Siemens programming experience would be an asset.
- Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving, research and teamwork skills.
- Computer skills - AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, Word, etc.
- Organizational skills - managing projects.

Compensation
- Competitive salary - $82,000 - $108,000 based on experience and designation
