About the role

Admissions Counselor Frostburg State University (FSU), Office of Admissions seeks applications for a full-time, exempt Admissions Counselor position.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Other duties as needed to assist with student enrollment.

Implement recruitment activities such as campus trips, presentations, Saturday visits, virtual events, resource tables, application workshops, and designated area projects.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Admissions, this role helps plan and coordinate undergraduate recruitment efforts for first-time and transfer students to support enrollment growth across all FSU programs.

Bachelor's degree with one to three years of related experience.
The successful candidate will have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively and promote a culturally diverse prospective student population.
Valid non-commercial driver's license and a desire to travel required.
Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to assist with student enrollment.
Frequent travel to high schools and two-year colleges with some overnight travel required.

Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
More than 4,000 students enroll yearly.
