About the role
- As a Mechanical Installer, you will join our Installation team supporting large-scale material handling and conveyor system projects across the continental United States.
- This role is responsible for the layout, pre-assembly, installation, and run-in of conveyor equipment, including structural and header steel, platforms, guardrail, rack systems, and air piping.
- Successful candidates will bring 1-5 years of hands-on installation experience, the ability to read engineered drawings, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings, layout diagrams, and assembly instructions to successfully implement project plans.
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and hand tools are required.
Nice to have
- Preferred ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.
- Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent experience, with technical degrees or specialized training preferred.
Skills
- Coordinate the layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems, ensuring flawless component integration.
- Install header steel, platforms, structural steel, and various mechanical components with precision.
- Assemble and align conveyors, guard rails, racks, and air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron).
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in a safe condition.
Compensation
- This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.
- The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $34,000 to $64,000 salary at the time of posting.
- Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
