- Job Description: The Project Leader - New Product Development (NPD) is responsible for leading the overall execution of moderate to high complexity product development initiatives, with minimal oversight.
- Ability to adapt to constant change and competing priorities. - Excellent problem identification and resolution skills - Experience working on cross-functional teams. - Thrive in a collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
- Drives overall project from concept to mass production, coordinating with cross-functional team and motivating them to accomplish project objectives.
- Creates and tracks schedules and facilitates and documents project meetings.
- Leads tradeoff discussions with product management and other cross-functional team members.
- Coordinates build readiness planning throughout the development process with cross-functional departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in related field
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to handle fast paced, and agile culture.
- Ability to adapt to constant change and competing priorities.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams.
- 3-10% travel is required.
