About the role
- The commercial coordinator interfaces with the corporate team and customer on any commercial issues related to cost and timing.
- In addition, the commercial coordinator is a facilitator of information flow between departments on commercial related issues.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with other departments to analyze profitability using optimum manufacturing/design techniques via Modatek Engineering Change Process
- Suggests and implements improvements to internal process, information and procedures
- Assists in developing and maintaining a quote model and pricing strategy
- Maintains cost and sales reports for tracking and overall program profitability
- Coordinates and supports commercial customer audits
- Creates and maintains customer supplier tooling records
- Knows and understands process documents and customer specific requirements as they relate to this job function
- Performs all duties in an environmentally responsible manner in accordance with the Modatek Systems Environmental Policy

Requirements
- Minimum two (2) - three (3) years experience in costing and quoting, preference given to automotive or related manufacturing experience
- Ability to work well in a fast passed environment and with a variable workload
- Ability to uphold confidentiality
- Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work overtime to meet business needs
- Performs other duties as required
Compensation
- $70,000 - $85,000
