To support these critical operations, the Street Maintenance team is currently hiring for an Equipment Operator II (Construction Sweeper) position.

Knowledge of city of Denver streets/alleys and use of maps
Three (3) years of general labor experience which must include two (2) years of experience operating light to medium sized equipment.
Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.

140 hours of PTO earned within first year + 12 paid holidays, 1 personal holiday, 1 Wellness Day and 1 volunteer day per year

Street Maintenance, a division within the City and County of Denver's Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, is responsible for keeping Denver's streets and alleys safe, clean, and reliable year-round.
The division oversees a wide range of essential services, including pothole repair, milling, paving, patching, alley maintenance, and citywide street sweeping.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the maintenance and improvement of Denver's streets, alleys, and transportation network while serving the community through all seasons.
