About the role

  • Summary of Position Responsible for operation of CNC mills and lathes. Responsibilities Responsible for daily warm up and shut down of machine. Use jog control and MPG (Manual Pulse Generator). Responsible to inspect, replace, and set tooling. Read and interpret drawings to determine dimensions of critical features to confirm accurate finished work pieces.
  • Load and unload fixtures. Perform basic routine maintenance functions on equipment. Perform inspection of own work using go and no-go gauge to ensure few or no mistakes are made in the assembly of the product. Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other manufacturing personnel for assignments and to resolve quality issues.
