About the role
- Responsible for coordinating their work within the advanced development team and with cross-functional team members in scientific and clinical affairs, product development, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop hardware solutions for projects within the Advanced Development organization
- Develop and maintain a working understanding of customer clinical challenges and needs in resuscitation; identify potential solutions to challenges
- Support product development as a technical expert
- Develop and review electrical verification test plans and protocols for hardware developed by the advanced development team
- Identify technical challenges and risks, and recommend and implement solutions
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive team environment that creates high quality solutions
- At least 6 years of analog and digital electronics design and development experience in a research and development environment with demonstrated technical leadership
- In-depth technical knowledge in both analog and digital design
Requirements

- Working knowledge of MATLAB, simulation and schematic capture tools, and programming languages such as Python or C++
- Ability to foresee challenges and provide alternative solutions and make strong recommendations with engineering-based rationales
- Ability to prioritize and work on more than one project concurrently

- Translate customer and system requirements into preliminary hardware requirements
- Contribute to hardware/software integration activities for integrating new technology hardware into systems and devices
- Remain current with electrical engineering trends and technologies through activities such as self-study, webinars, seminars, user group meetings and conferences
- Follow standard operating procedures and electrical engineering best practices including documentation of hardware architectures and schematics
- BS degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related engineering or science discipline
- MS degree preferred

Compensation
- $131,900.00 to $165,000.00
- This position is eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the company's bonus plan.
- Factors which may affect starting salary include geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
- For fully remote positions, compensation will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local wage laws, including minimum wage requirements, based on the employee's primary work location.
