About the role
- Job Description: Warehouse Technician, 1st Shift - North Aurora, IL At Pentair, you will work alongside passionate problem-solvers who are committed to the future of our planet.
- We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Technician to join our North Aurora, IL, team.
- You will use stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts to transport and position materials while ensuring order accuracy through verification of pick lists.
Requirements
- Experience with SAP highly desired.
- Ability to operate a forklift (both stand-up and sit-down).
- Ability to read and comprehend facility orders.
- Mechanical ability and prior experience with power hand tools.
- Steel-toed footwear is required.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 40lbs.
Nice to have
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills
- Operate stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts to move, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility
- Verify parts against bills of material and pick lists to ensure accuracy in shipping and order fulfillment
- Safely handle materials using proper lifting techniques, including overhead cranes and lift‑assist devices
- Follow all safety protocols while working in a fast‑paced environment to meet daily production and shipping goals
Compensation
- The hourly pay for this role is $27.79/hour. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
