About the role
- The Oncology Nursing Supervisor plays a key leadership role in supporting compassionate, high quality cancer care across assigned TOI clinics.

Responsibilities
- The Nursing Supervisor will help build strong clinical teams, support consistent workflows, promote teammate engagement, and contribute to a positive environment where nurses feel supported and patients receive exceptional care.
- Partner with physicians, nursing leaders, and operations teams to improve patient care delivery
- Support clinical excellence, patient access, and safe nursing workflows
- Help create a positive team culture focused on growth, support, and continuous improvement
- Lead and manage a team of Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses, including performance evaluations, competency assessments, and training on new workflows to ensure consistent, high quality care in assigned markets and clinics.
- Provide direct care to patients, as needed, to support adequate staffing levels, patient access, and continuity of care.
- Partner with Nursing leadership to interview, select, onboard, and mentor nursing teammates.
- Serve as a resource for staff during busy periods, ensuring they have the support they need to provide exceptional care to patients.
Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience in oncology or a related field.
Nice to have
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a supervisory or managerial role strongly preferred.
Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge in oncology nursing practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to make sound decisions.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in oncology nursing.

- Collaborate with TOI physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care delivery.
