About the role

The ideal candidate will work closely with designers, pattern makers, and manufacturers to ensure that all products meet the brand's quality, fit, and aesthetic standards.

Create and review detailed technical packages (tech packs) for sweater designs, including specifications for yarn, stitch, construction, measurements, and finishing techniques.
Collaborate with domestic and international manufacturers to address any technical issues, clarify design intent, and ensure accurate sample production.
Utilize your knowledge of yarns, knitting machines, and knitting techniques to optimize the production process and achieve desired design outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of all technical specifications, fit comments, and revisions throughout the development and production process.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a technical designer, with a focus on knitwear, particularly sweaters.
Proficiency in creating and updating technical packages (tech packs) and using design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).

The annual salary range for this full-time role is dependent on experience between $80,000 - $100,000.

Work closely with the design team to ensure that the final product aligns with the creative vision while meeting technical and production requirements.
