About the role
- Title:- Data Engineer (Informatica, Atacamma & Denodo)
- Location:- Tri-state area of NJ/NY/PA (On-Site)
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines with Informatica to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources.
- Create data virtualization layers and logical views in Denodo to provide unified, real time access to distributed data without physical consolidation.
- Implement data quality, profiling, and master data management rules using Ataccama to ensure accuracy, consistency, and lineage.
- Optimize performance of integration jobs and Denodo views; tune mappings, caches, and query pushdown.
- Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to expose curated datasets and APIs for reporting, BI, and ML use cases.
- Document solutions and run handovers to operations; support incident resolution and change management.
Requirements
- Hands on experience with Informatica PowerCenter / Cloud Data Integration (mappings, workflows, parameterization).
- Practical expertise with Denodo (data sources, views, caching, query optimization, security).
- Experience with Ataccama for data quality, profiling, and MDM implementations.
- Knowledge of data modeling, metadata, and data lineage concepts.
- Experience with scripting (Python, Shell) and CI/CD for data pipelines.
- Required skills and experience
Nice to have
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Kafka, or other streaming technologies.
- Certifications in Informatica, Denodo, or Ataccama.
