About the role
- They will assist in creating purchase orders, and receiving goods and services against the purchase orders, preparation of financial reports and analysis, forecasting, billing.
- On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Working Conditions: - Located in a comfortable indoor area.
Responsibilities
- 15% Partner with Purchasing Operations to ensure a smooth transition in hand off price changes, vendor set-up, article creation, article rationalization
- 20% Performs research and analysis of internal and external issues related to performance metrics or process optimization
- 15% Act as liaison between internal and external work teams/business partners to achieve business goals and objectives
- 25% Creates purchase orders (PO's) and receives goods/services against the PO's
- Partner with Finance to provide support activities associated with month, quarter, and year end close
- 25% Gathers and correlates basic information using established and defined financial procedures; Conducts special financial studies as directed; Partner with Finance to provide support activities associated with month, quarter, and year end close
Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- No travel required.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
Nice to have
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PPT)
- 3 to 4 years' experience in purchasing related activities such as PO proficiency, project management and presentation skills
- Previous experience with financial analysis/budgeting preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Advertising, Marketing, or related field preferred
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Compensation
- Will assist in financial close activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and serve as a liaison between the cross-functional groups within In Store Environment and other business partners.
