About the role

  • The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre has 12 site groups and 26 specialty clinics, and almost 3,000 staff who see over 400,000 patient visits every year.
  • As an integral member of the interprofessional team, the site-based Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) acts as a resource and co-leader for the interprofessional disease site team(s).
  • The PCC has clinical and leadership expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Basic Cardiac life Support (B.C.L.S.) program
  • Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment and collaborates with others in assisting with the delivery of care to patients

Requirements

  • Three (3) years nursing experience, including experience as required by area of responsibility and experience working in a supervisory capacity
  • Current certificate of competency (licensure) from the College of Nurses of Ontario required
  • Experience with project management and/or Lean process improvement an asset
  • Exercise initiative and good judgement with the ability to multi-task

Nice to have

  • Completion of a Master's degree in Nursing preferred

Compensation

  • $45.85 to $57.31 per hour
