About the role
- Analyze current fragrance trends and evaluates products of competitors.
- Responsible for training, coaching and supervising a team.
Responsibilities
- Guide perfumers with developing, evaluating, and adjusting both new and existing fragrances.
- Develop and evaluate fragrances that meet organization standards and customer needs.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to assess consumer preferences and customer requirements.
- Maintain full awareness and comply with regulations associated with fragrance development.
- Provide sensory analysis for finished products and raw materials as well as support Product Safety programs within the operations department.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Industry & Regulation
Skills
- English fluency to interact with other IFF affiliate sites.
- Proficient in SAP, IFFMAN, Word, Excel, Lotus Notes
- Solid Experience in a creative or quality laboratory.
- Can pass a color blind test.
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately describe sensory characteristics of all raw materials & most finished products
- Master of sensory evaluation & discriminate sensory quality for all RM & finished products
- Master knowledge of production process in this industry
- Outstanding with the specialized set of organoleptic skills
- Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
- Regression and acceptance testing cycle experience
- Skillful in Project Management
- Knowledge of Financial analysis, legal framework and business drivers.
