About the role

The Material Handler coordinates and expedites the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
Communicating inventory needs, and driving 5S activities
Daily tasks need to be achieved by working with supervisors, employees, and other Line Leaders

Document work area related information about product, quality and process
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition

High School Diploma or equivalency
Good planning, organization and communications skills.
Good computer skills or the interest and ability to pursue and complete pertinent computer training if needed.
Ability to read and understand English.
Flexibility and reliability, including good focus and attendance.
The ability to work long periods standing up; lift and manipulate heavy loads (up to 60 lbs.).
Twist, turn, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and walk repetitively, and work with oils, coolants, and lubricants.
Overhead crane work.
Must be willing to work overtime, which may include occasional weekends.
Expected Hourly Range: $17.60 - 22.69
