About the role
- This is a temporary, full-time position and will report to the Director of Maryland Hunger Solutions.
- The position is funded through September 30,2026 with possible option to renew.
- MDHS operates as a fully remote organization.
Responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
- Candidates must reside in the D.C., Maryland, and Virgina metro area, as this position will require regular local travel to conduct outreach, attend meeting and engage with community partners as needed.
- To attain this mission, FRAC engages in research, policy analysis and advocacy, coalition-building, outreach, technical assistance and training, and an array of communications strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience.
- Travel around the state will be required, and mileage is reimbursable.
Nice to have
- Ability to speak Spanish is preferred.
