About the role
- Coordinates small, capital, and portions of large projects utilizing acceptable tools as specified by the Construction and Facilities Planning Department. Follows Cook Children's Medical Centers approved processes for construction, renovation and remodel projects. Responsible for assuring that project information is current, accurate, communicated to all
- stakeholders, and documented. Determines need for, attendees, and schedules meetings from inception to lessons learned sessions. Responsible for coordination of work on projects from inception to completion, associated noise tests, and document retention. Continuously seek and implement means and methods to improve processes and performance through
Responsibilities
- Continuously seek and implement means and methods to improve processes and performance through innovation, technology, and using TQM methods.
Requirements
- Three years of project coordination required
- Must be trustworthy of confidential information
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
- Five years' experience working in a healthcare environment required
- Able to develop an effective working relationship with staff in all areas of CCHCS
- To be successful in this role you will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel and have general software literacy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Customer service focused in every facet of construction coordination delivery
