About the role

  • Job Description Everforth ECS is seeking an AI Model Developer to work in a hybrid remote/onsite capacity, with minimum of 3 business days onsite at our Fairfax, VA corporate office and/or our Ashburn, VA customer site.
  • Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
  • Everforth ECS is seeking a highly skilled AI Model Developer with expertise in machine learning model creation and full-stack application development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model optimization.
  • Develop high throughput, event-driven microservices (RESTful APIs, GraphQL) for application backends and MCP servers to serve AI models.
  • Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces for AI-powered applications.
  • Document model architectures, APIs, and deployment processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development and full-stack application building.
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Transformers).
  • Full Stack: Experience with backend frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI) and frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Databases: Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Version Control: Proficiency with GitHub workflows.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Plotly, D3.js).
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Prior experience in AI product development from concept to deployment.

Compensation

  • $125,000-150,000
