About the role

  • The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, extensive manufacturing experience, and effective communication skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • The Company is vertically integrated from the mining of iron ore, production of pellets and direct reduced iron, and processing of ferrous scrap through primary steelmaking and downstream finishing, stamping, tooling, and tubing.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Quality System including A2LA accreditation and IATF certifications through activities such as internal auditing, document maintenance and MSA.
  • Maintain, audit and revise quality-related processes, including test reporting, metrics development and distribution, efficiency tools, IT project management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Support and maintain the legacy order entry system.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, and other technical resources to drive results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or relevant work experience.
  • Experience in multiple computer programming languages
  • ability to interpret SAS code and convert into Power BI.
  • 5 years' of experience in manufacturing legacy systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven verbal and written communication, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.

Nice to have

  • 10 plus years of experience in manufacturing legacy systems.
  • Knowledge of external customer requirements.
