About the role
- You need to be as comfortable in the details as you are leading.
- We already run much of the transactional layer on automation, and we want a Controller who treats that as core to the job, not a side project.
Responsibilities
- Own the books across all entities (US, UK, India), month-end close and consolidations, technical accounting (606, 842, 718), revenue, COGS and inventory, and internal controls
- Manage the tax, statutory, and specialist work
- Manage and grow the accounting team
Requirements
- Experience independently owned a month-end close, handling real revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Hardware experience required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence at all levels
Nice to have
- Audit experience, internal or external
- Experience owning or heavily contributing to a multi-entity month-end close and consolidations
- Experience selecting and implementing an ERP is a plus.
- We will graduate off QuickBooks as we scale
Skills
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, or an Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller ready to step up into a full controllership
