About the role

  • We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help us better understand and improve organic search performance across a large portfolio of local and enterprise clients.
  • In this role, you'll work cross-functionally to analyze performance data, identify trends, and translate insights into clear recommendations that inform product strategy, product marketing, and optimization efforts.
  • It is focused on measurement, analysis, and strategic insight.

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve portfolio level performance reporting, including dashboards and scorecards
  • Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering teams to improve data quality and expand access to meaningful signals
  • Regular manager check-ins to drive performance and career growth through Lattice

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, digital marketing, product development, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on data mining to inform product decisions
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights
  • Intermediate experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, BrightLocal, or similar

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field
  • STEM degree a plus.
  • SEO fundamentals including technical, on page, off page, local search, and familiarity with AI search is a plus
  • Experience in agency, SaaS, or SMB focused environments is a plus
  • Experience with Python or automation tools is a plus

Compensation

  • We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
  • The base salary range is $100,000 (entry-level) - $110,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits.
  • If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience.
  • Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
  • Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role.
  • Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
