  • 26WD99647, Senior Data Analyst Position Overview Autodesk is seeking an experienced Senior D ata A nalyst to join the Strategic Data & Research team in our G o- T o- M arket Data Intelligence team.
  • The GDI team is chartered with delivering accurate foundational data and customer intelligence to inform go-to-market (GTM) team s' engagement across the customer lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Own analytics projects from problem definition through delivery, identifying opportunities to refine the scope as new insights emerge
  • Drive investigative analyses, using business context and data to determine the next questions worth answering rather than simply executing predefined requests
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to explore new project ideas or enhancements
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches that drive actionable decisions
  • Partner with Data Scientists to i dentify areas of improvement for Data Science models
  • Build scalable reporting to measure progress in key initiatives
  • Develop deep expertise in Autodesk's customer and go-to-market data ecosystem
  • Data Analysts play a critical role in shaping GTM focus areas by uncovering insights, influencing business decisions, and partnering across functions to deliver customer intelligence used throughout the customer lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in an Analyst role
  • Experience with Snowflake
  • Experience working in Python or R
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent) to accelerate data work, automate repetitive tasks, and improve analytical productivity

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Salesforce & Salesforce data objects
  • Familiarity with Data Science concepts
  • Experience working in Git
  • Experience working with DBT
  • Experience with Looker
  • Communicates effectively with both technical stakeholders and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity by challenging assumptions, asking follow-up questions, and uncovering insights beyond the original request
  • Has a strong attention to detail and care deeply about data quality
