Responsibilities
- Develops and plans services that address and/or include family therapy, marital counseling, child abuse and sexual abuse therapy, major family disruption, developmental disabilities, death and suicide.
Requirements
- Required - None.
- Must have or obtain within 90 days of hire the LA LPC Board approval to perform Teletherapy in state(s) of practice.**
- Licensure or certification as a sex therapist may be required depending on area of assignment.
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
Nice to have
- Preferred - Two years related work experience in direct patient counseling
- Preferred - Certification in Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS)
