About the role
- Your work directly impacts the effectiveness and readiness of key operational environments.
- Integrate A/V components with IT infrastructure, video conferencing platforms, and other enterprise systems.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers, stakeholders, project teams, and subcontractors - maintaining alignment from project planning through final commissioning and customer acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and support control systems for audiovisual environments using platforms such as Crestron, AMX, or Extron.
- Implement user interface designs and automation logic to streamline system usability and performance.
- Support the installation and commissioning of A/V systems in secure and mission-critical facilities.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including programming code, configuration files, and user manuals.
- This position is responsible for programming and configuring A/V control systems to support classified and unclassified environments, ensuring seamless integration with IT and communications infrastructure.
- You will collaborate with system engineers, integrators, and end users to implement technology solutions that meet rigorous performance, security, and operational standards.
Requirements
- Five (5) or more years of experience in AV system programming and integration
- Proficiency with control system programming (e.g., Crestron SIMPL/SIMPL+, Crestron Studio, AMX NetLinx, Extron Global Scripter)
- Experience with DSP configuration, AV-over-IP, and unified communications systems
- Eight (8) or more years of experience in A/V system programming and integration within secure or mission-driven environments
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Years of experience and certifications in lieu of degree.
- (Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. )
- Crestron Master Programmer Silver
- Extron Authorized Programmer
