Responsibilities
- Prepare design calculations, design drawings, and specifications necessary for most economical method of construction
- Perform independent studies and prepare reports of results and conclusions in a clear, concise manner. Direct other engineers and technicians on assigned tasks and review and evaluate their results. Present and deliver final reports to clients.
- Maintain and utilize working knowledge of accepted engineering design standards and practices in the execution of design work that will meet the client's needs and conform to firm standards.
- Serve as Project Manager for projects that primarily require work within own group but may also require coordination with other groups and the client
- Mix of technical experience including but not limited to water and wastewater design of pipelines, storage, lift stations, pump stations, coordination of civil/structural/mechanical/electrical design, and construction contract administration and management
- Proven ability to manage a multi-discipline design team and assign tasks to and review work of EITs
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients, both internal and external, as well as representatives of local, state and federal regulatory agencies

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
- 6+ years of related water and wastewater treatment experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team as well as independently
- Seal drawings and reports as required
- Provide data, as required, for cost estimating, and secure preliminary equipment costs for reviews.
