About the role
- Full Time/OT/Traveling Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including lowboys, flatbeds, tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and other heavy-haul equipment.
- Transport oversized loads, heavy equipment, and roadway construction materials while ensuring safe and timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and job site support as needed.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, experience hauling oversized loads, and the ability to work in a fast-paced road construction environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and secure loads.
- Ability to enter and exit trucks and trailers repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and physically demanding conditions.
- Travel and work overtime, nights, weekends, and out-of-town projects when required.
