Department Focus and Job Summary The overarching philosophy will be "Right the First Time" in everything we do and produce and driving towards perfection.

Qualified candidates are able to plan, complete, and direct quality engineering work associated with improving and maintaining the Quality Program.

Due to Federal Contract requirements, US Citizenship is required for this position.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field - OR
2-5 years' of work experience in quality control inspection or quality program implementation with an Associate's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field - OR
8-10 years' of experience in quality control inspection or quality program implementation.
This includes knowledge of management and planning tools, quality tools, preventive and corrective actions, and how to overcome barriers to quality improvements.
Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications.
Must be able to occasionally maneuver in, around, and under pressure vessels, piping systems, fabricated structures, equipment, and other items.
The candidate must be highly organized and have a high level of attention to detail.
The QE compiles the Hayward Tyler certification documents and releases material for further processing or shipment based upon the results of the required approvals contained therein.
Provides work direction and technical expertise to those department personnel engaged in tasks assigned.

Must be able to differentiate colors and have vision (with or without correction) that meets code requirements.
