About the role

Job Purpose Contribute to the execution and achievement of established financial goals; responsible for the development and growth of existing accounts, driving increased market share within assigned territory.
Salary Range - $70,500 - $87,7000, depending on position qualifications, job-related skills and experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.

Develop and maintain relationships with assigned customer bases, including national accounts, perform research, and prepare quotes and information for customers.
Research and develop information on new projects.
Drive effective partnership with the branch team, communicate to deepen understanding of customer business processes, buying procedures, and expectations for service.
Partner with the branch and other internal resources to investigate and resolve all customer complaints promptly.
Perform related administrative functions in accordance with MRC Global procedures, including quotations, order placement, delivery confirmation, processing changes and returns, and responding to messages and inquiries.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Must have the ability to provide documentation verifying legal work status.
Ability to read and speak the English language proficiently in order to communicate with others, understand and interpret safety instructions, and respond to inquiries.
Ability to understand and comply with MRC Global guidelines and expectations, including Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest guidelines.

Education, Experience & Ability Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree) and additional related training.

Contact existing and potential customers to sell products and services, ensure customer satisfaction with existing products, and expand the customer base.
Work with the branch warehouse to achieve delivery performance goals, ensure orders are filled as promised, and keep customers informed of order status.
