Responsibilities
- This position will begin with a per diem schedule, with the anticipated transition to a full-time temporary schedule from approximately August 2026 through February 2027 to support clinic staffing needs.
Requirements
- Knowledge of the RN scope of practice in the State of Minnesota.
- Professional knowledge of clinical nursing protocols and standards of care.
- Knowledge of clinical protocols related to obtaining and assessing vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and temperature.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make appropriate decisions independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced clinical environment.
- Ability to respond appropriately to urgent patient needs and changing priorities.
Nice to have
- Knowledge and understanding of managed care concepts strongly preferred.
- Nephrology experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to type 50 words per minute preferred.
