About the role
- Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, based in our Danbury, CT facility.
Responsibilities
- Investigate product or process failures and abnormalities, determine root cause, build corrective action plan and drive that plan to completion.
- Support the Process and Manufacturing teams, Operators, Technicians to monitor and address reliability issues as they arise, troubleshoot complex issues, develop and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Lead equipment reliability projects and equipment continuous improvement projects for OEE (overall equipment effectiveness.)
- Create, release, and train operators on maintenance Work Instruction, Troubleshooting Guides (TSG), Response Flow Checklists (RFCs)
- Use the data to drive predictive maintenance and improve detection to equipment operational changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or similar technical degree
- 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with equipment control systems, automation, and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects in an ISO/GMP environment
Nice to have
- Clean room experience a plus
- some handling of toxic materials required
Compensation
- $91,000- 115,000 per year with actual pay dependent on candidates' overall skills for the role
