  • Under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse Supervisor (CNS), the role involves a range of technical, clerical, clinical, and general infusion nurse tasks related to home infusion services.
  • include patient home care, including assessment, obtaining IV and port access, administering intravenous and injectable medications, and providing education.

Responsibilities

  • Additionally, the role supports pharmacy operations through quality control activities, maintenance of pharmacy and nursing records, inventory management and preparation of medication orders.
  • Identifies, documents, and communicates any potential risks, adverse reactions, or complications associated with infusion therapy in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Provides clinical feedback and collaborates on care plan adjustments based on patient response, condition changes, or reported concerns.
  • Maintains thorough and accurate documentation of the infusion process, including patient responses, adverse events, and medication administration details.
  • Collaborates closely with the nursing team, pharmacists, and pharmacy staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care and effective implementation of treatment plans.
  • Maintains strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols throughout the infusion process to ensure patient safety and procedural integrity.

Requirements

  • Provide in-home infusion therapy with regular travel required to and from patient residences.

  • 1 year preferred (critical thinking)

Compensation

  • Compensation Range: $43/hr - $45/hr (DOE) + $.48/mile
