About the role

  • Course Description Basic principles of aerospace human factors with an emphasis on human factors issues with living and working in space.
  • Research, principles and methods that are essential in optimizing the interaction between people and machine elements of aerospace systems.
  • Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training.

Requirements

  • Doctor's or Master's degree in teaching discipline, or a Masters's degree with a concentration in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline).
  • Experience at a Military / Civilian organization related to Psychology, Human Factors, Space Operations (manned flight), or Physiology.
  • Aerospace, Aeronautical, Aviation (with experience in discipline)
  • If selected for this role, the candidate will be required to provide proof of stated qualifications.

  • Rated/certified military operations officer or civil equivalent for to Psychology, Human Factors, Space Operations (manned flight), or Physiology or any professional certification related to human factors/interaction within the space domain.
