About the role
- Assists in other laboratory functions, such as sample preparation and other material processing operations as needed.
- Provides process analysis in a group laboratory environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College experience in relevant technical areas (mathematics, chemistry, material science, any engineering discipline) is helpful.
- Must have demonstrated mechanical aptitude, be highly analytical with acceptable writing and record-keeping skills.
- Must be computer literate and have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must be willing to work either 2nd or 3rd shifts.
- Practical knowledge of PC functions (Excel and Word).
Nice to have
- Prior laboratory experience in chemical analysis, safe chemical handling, and general knowledge of laboratory procedures is a plus but is not required.
