- Job Description The Mold Technician at Becton, Dickinson and Company is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and repair of injection molds and related equipment used in the production of medical devices.
- This role ensures optimal mold performance, quality, and efficiency.
Nice to have
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mold issues, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems, and execute necessary repairs.
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds according to established procedures and specifications.
- Set up and change over molds on injection molding machines, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Operate various shop equipment, including grinders, lathes, and milling machines, for mold component fabrication and repair.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, quality standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to mold performance and manufacturing processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree or vocational training in tool and die making, mold making, or a related technical field preferred.
