About the role

This role must proactively identify and action risks to safety, food safety, quality and production losses.
Technician must participate in coaching root cause problem solving with other Make and Pack Technicians on team, effectively communicate priorities and escalate issues within their area and across shifts.

The Maintenance Technician's role is to provide on the production floor leadership to build Progressive Maintenance (PM) capability (breakdown elimination) and technical support (work order completion) for delivering the team's operational targets such as safety, quality, and efficiency results.
Troubleshoot and repair routine mechanical (hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems at the component level) and basic electrical problems on all plant equipment

Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment.
Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods (minimum twelve hours in one shift).

Associate degree in a technical discipline, preferably in Industrial Maintenance/Technology
Technical/ Trade Certification in: Welding, Advanced Machinist Skills, fabrication, and blueprint interpretation
Possess an advanced understanding of AC/DC Electrical (up to 480VAC 3 Phase), Hydraulic and Pneumatic Schematics and Mechanical Drawings in order to solve problems
