About the role

Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Recovery Community Center, ensuring a recovery-focused tone and culture.
- Provide individual support and system navigation for recoverees and their families, including resources, referrals, phone support, and assistance with requests for help.
- Oversee the development, coordination, implementation, and management of peer recovery support services at the local level.
- Ensure the Telephone Recovery Support program operates efficiently within the Recovery Community Center.
- Build the local support service network through personal meetings, presentations, council, committee, and board participation, speaking engagements, and other promotional or networking activities.
- Recruit volunteers and promote recovery support services within the local community.
- Maintain data, prepare reports, and keep accurate and relevant records.
- Schedule and implement recovery trainings and events in accordance with established requirements.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organized, and passionate about working closely with people in recovery.
- A valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.

Nice to have
- Minimum of three years of successful, progressive experience in service or program delivery with a nonprofit organization.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience.
- Experience with outreach, networking, promotion, and training.
- Strong customer service ethic.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong computer skills and experience with current technology.
- Knowledge of addiction recovery preferred.
- Cross-cultural skills and experience working with culturally diverse populations.
