Compensation

  • All CSN employees receive 12 paid holidays per year.
  • Starting Salary Information
  • For example, for an instructor with a Master's degree, the salary range would be $58,046 to $74,304 annually.

  • The College of Southern Nevada (CSN), Department of Dental Sciences, Diagnostic Evaluation and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a full-time tenure track Dental Hygiene Instructor to begin Fall semester 2026.
  • Under the direction of the Program Director and Department Chair, the Dental Hygiene Instructor will be responsible, but are not limited to the following:
  • Utilize various forms of online learning technology in teaching methodology.
  • Support the goals, missions, and core values of the dental hygiene program by building good relations through clear communication with the director, faculty, staff, and students.
  • Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene OR Associate of Science-Dental Hygiene AND a bachelor's degree in a health-related field from an accredited institution.
  • Three years of clinical experience as a full-time Dental Hygienist.
  • Must have by the start of employment membership in the American Dental Hygienists' Association and if hired, provide membership in the Nevada state and local component Dental Hygiene Associations.
  • Prior didactic and clinical teaching experience in a Dental Hygiene program.
  • On-site Early Childhood Education Center services available.
