Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop integrated warehouse automation solutions for customer facilities.
- Design, engineer, and configure automation systems, including warehouse layouts using tools such as AutoCAD.
- Analyze customer operational data, build models, and appropriately size automation systems to support business objectives.
- Translate customer business requirements into hardware, software, and system-level recommendations that optimize warehouse performance.
- Support proposal development activities, including system configuration, pricing inputs, business case analysis, and executive-level customer deliverables.
- Experience developing business cases, customer-facing proposals, and executive-level presentations or deliverables.
- Your job will be to design, engineer, and deliver high-value warehouse automation solutions that meet customer needs and drive commercial success.
- We partner closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to create accurate, scalable, and competitive system designs that support customer engagements, proposal development, and business growth.
- Demonstrated ability to lead or influence cross-functional teams and manage complex technical proposals or projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in solutions engineering, supply chain automation, automated material handling, or a related technical environment.
- Up to 3 0% of travel may be required.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- experience with SQL, PowerPivot, and/or Access preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Research, Science, Business, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience with data modeling, financial analysis, and advanced Excel
- Experience with warehouse automation systems, material handling solutions, or robotic picking technologies preferred.
Compensation
- The base range for this position in the posted location is $125,000.00 - $171,600.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
