Responsibilities
- In this role, you will lead the engineering effort for new and ongoing projects.
- You will support multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with NV5 Substation Engineering leadership to ensure project success.
- Prepare conceptual designs and execution plans Engineering/project cost estimates and schedules Perform and document quality reviews for other engineers and designers.
- Prepare construction drawings, documents, calculations, and studies for medium and high voltage substation projects.
- Apply engineering design principles and practices including formulas.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience within substation physical experience.
- Knowledge of substation physical.
- Experience with high voltage substation design (12kV through 500kV).
- Ability to interpret and apply standards including IEEE, IEC, NESC, and client standards.
- B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
