About the role

- Experience working with teens or youth in an educational, recreational, mentorship, or cultural program setting.
Responsibilities
- The Culture Camp Volunteer supports the Yakutat Tlingit Tribe Culture Camp by assisting with daily program operations, cultural activities, logistics, and camper support.
- Volunteers help create a safe, respectful, and culturally grounded environment for youth, Elders, instructors, and staff.
- Helping manage transitions between activities, meals, and sessions
- Maintain appropriate boundaries with youth participants
- Maintain confidentiality of participant information
- Support a safe, substance-free environment
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal and State background check.
