About the role

Responsibilities

  • The Culture Camp Volunteer supports the Yakutat Tlingit Tribe Culture Camp by assisting with daily program operations, cultural activities, logistics, and camper support.
  • Volunteers help create a safe, respectful, and culturally grounded environment for youth, Elders, instructors, and staff.
  • Helping manage transitions between activities, meals, and sessions
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries with youth participants
  • Maintain confidentiality of participant information
  • Support a safe, substance-free environment

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to pass a National Criminal and State background check.
