About the role
- Augments quality functions: assurance (QA), control (QC), inspection (QI), and optimization of industrial operations units to ensure products meet regulatory, customer and internal standards.
- This position reports to the Director of Quality.
- Champion a "zero defect" culture in leadership, manufacturing, supply chain, safety and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Our core competencies include systems engineering, program management, logistics, production support, aircraft maintenance, and aviation/aerospace services.
- Establish, maintain and monitor plant compliance with industry-specific standards such as ISO 9001:2015/2026, AS9100D/IA9100, AS9102, ISO 17025 and NADCAP.
- Develop metrics for initiatives based on KPIs (First Pass Yield, Defects Per Unit, Scrap, Rejection, Rework, Delivery in Full on Time) using methodologies, e.g. Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC.
- Essential Job Functions: Quality Strategy & Leadership: "Train the Trainers", implement and monitor the plant's quality plan aligned with site performance goals and SIOP/BD.
- Regulatory Compliance: Establish, maintain and monitor plant compliance with industry-specific standards such as ISO 9001:2015/2026, AS9100D/IA9100, AS9102, ISO 17025 and NADCAP.
- Continuous Improvement: Develop metrics for initiatives based on KPIs (First Pass Yield, Defects Per Unit, Scrap, Rejection, Rework, Delivery in Full on Time) using methodologies, e.g. Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical/STEM discipline (Masters preferred) 10-15 years' experience in manufacturing quality with at least 4-6 years in management role
Skills
- software proficiency in QMS, Statistical Process Control (SPC), ERP, MS/Office 365 Suite Preferred
Compensation
- $75,000-$125,000 annually Qualifications, Education, and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical/STEM discipline (Masters preferred) 10-15 years' experience in manufacturing quality with at least 4-6 years in management role Required
