About the role

  • The Materials Specialist will focus on supporting the manufacturing team's commercial preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily routine tasks: receives, stores, labeling, kitting, picks, packs, ships and/or distribute materials.
  • Maintain MIN MAX and ROP for production material and manage to ensure no production part shortages.
  • Performs an initial quality check on incoming items.
  • Manage BOM and inventory, performing regular cycle counts to ensure accurate part counts and inventory reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to fulfill material transfer requests and support manufacturing schedules.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing material shipments for offsite storage.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Ability to lift fifty-five (20) pounds.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Propel Quality system.
  • Experience with NetSuite system.
  • Experience in a start-up environment
  • Experience creating, setting up, and/or managing inventory systems.
  • Experience with packaging and shipping of products

  • The starting hourly rate for this role is between $35-$40 / hour depending on experience.

Compensation

  • The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and location.
