About the role

  • Job Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Completes daily assigned jobs.
  • Works well with all Denver team members.
  • Makes tactical decisions based on situational conflicts and machine priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the PM's and parts for their assigned lines.
  • Creates work orders for parts, tasks and issues that were not addressed but need to be completed.
  • Performs weekly PM Audits.
  • Creates requisitions for parts in Ariba, including contacting vendors for pricing, and maintaining appropriate part inventory levels.
  • Develops a "Critical/Consumable" parts audit for their lines.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of all machinery and equipment, the maintenance shop and rebuild area, the base rebuild area, mold storage areas, label areas and downstream areas.
  • Leads 5 "S" projects in these areas to organize, arrange and maintain a professional looking work place.
  • Updates, and creates change over sheets.

Requirements

  • Employees are required to stand / walk for up to 11 hours per shift on a concrete floor.
  • Employees must be able to work 12-hour shifts day or nights, including weekends and holidays.
  • Education:
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with Blow Molding machinery and related equipment. Must have good working knowledge of high production machinery and facilities and exhibits leadership qualities. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports and correspondence. Able to recognize and understand numbers and values. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and customer needs. Ability to visually and mentally make priority decisions / judgement calls based on the situation at hand. Ability to work under pressure and interact with others. Ability to meet / exceed deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate quickly and effectively with all members of the shift and management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in electronic data-entry Possess the desire for continued learning both within the job position requirements and for personal advancement.

  • Tracks when major PMs (ei annual, quarterly) are due and plans for what needs to be done.
