Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day legal matters arising from US and Canadian operations, including matters relating to corporate governance.
- Support the delivery of strategic projects for the Legal Department.
- Ability to manage complexity - making sense of high-quantity or contradictory information to solve problems.
- Planning and organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Help build the future of online trading
Requirements
- 2 years of hands-on experience with a law firm or as in-house counsel, but impact matters more than years.
Nice to have
- Working experience in FinTech, the FX/trading sector, derivatives, payment services, or cryptocurrency from a commercial and legal perspective.
- Regulatory experience within the global financial services industry.
